How it works

The timer keeps a deadline and recomputes remaining time when the tab resumes. It does not subtract one second per browser callback, so delayed callbacks do not accumulate drift.

Example

Set 00 hours, 05 minutes and 00 seconds for a five-minute timer. Pause preserves the remaining time; Reset returns to your chosen duration.
