How it works
Attendance is classes attended divided by classes held. Future attended classes increase both counts; absences increase only the total. Minimum required classes and allowable additional absences use exact inequalities, while percentages display 2 decimals.
Example
42 attended out of 60 is 70%. Attend the next 12 classes to reach 54/72 = 75%. If you have ever missed a class, exactly 100% cannot be reached with a finite number of later classes.
Does every institution require 75%?
Set the rule your institution actually uses. 75% is only the example, not a universal requirement. Counts refer to classes, not days; separate subjects, exemptions and rounding policies may need separate calculations.
