How it works

A constant-rate scenario, not guaranteed returns. Nominal uses annual rate ÷ 12; effective uses (1 + annual return)^(1/12) − 1. Contributions increase after each full year. Taxes, fees and inflation are excluded. Internal values are not rounded each month; displayed money is rounded.

Example

At 0% return, 100 per month and a 10% annual step-up over 2 years contributes 1,200 in year one and 1,320 in year two: 2,520 total.

Does a SIP guarantee a fixed return?

No. SIP describes periodic contributions. This calculator uses your constant return assumption and does not select funds, predict markets, deduct fund expenses or guarantee investment performance.
